Fostering creativity in the “Gee Whiz Factory”
The renovation of the Frankel, Frank & Company Building, located in downtown Kansas City, involved preserving and restoring the romantic characteristics of a historic building while also transforming it to meet the needs of a progressive advertising, public relations and branding firm, Trozzolo Communications Group. After sitting empty for more than 25 years, much was needed to turn this dilapidated downtown structure into efficient workspace. The finished design celebrates the historical beauty of the building while creating a vibrant and effective work environment – making this project a model of urban sustainability and redevelopment.
