Dining By Design

“Dining By Design” (DBD) is a Helix favorite because it is a synthesis of two priorities that fall at the top of our list: charitable causes and captivating spaces.  DBD is the signature event for DIFFA chapters nationwide, helping raise millions of dollars for HIV and AIDS education and prevention.    DBD has become very popular in major US cities across the nation, although it was founded right here in the Kansas City Area.

This year, a team of Helix designers created a table that took the Pantone color of the year, Radiant Orchid, as inspiration.  The concept of “Nature Reclaiming Design” is executed through the weathered and sophisticated details and highlighted by the “radiance” of the lit candles.

We would like to thank Knoll Textiles for their generous fabric donation, the Kansas City community for its support of the DBD event,  and DIFFA for its continued efforts for a noteworthy cause.
