Continuing our company’s “Bike MS” yearly tradition, Helix bikers Mark Neibling and Sam Loring, rode this past weekend with team “Cutters” to raise money for the MS cause. Their route started in Olathe and ended in Lawrence where a “Gears and Grooves” festival awaited their arrival. The rewards were worthwhile, as bikers enjoyed food, musical entertainment, and Boulevard Beer, but most importantly made an impact for the MS cause.
The biking culture is alive at Helix, and what better way to celebrate that fact than to combine the biking experience with a good cause. Mark Neibling and Mason Hansen, Helix’s most avid bikers, rode with team “Cutters” in the MS150 the weekend of September 14th and 15th. The route took participants from Olathe, Kansas to South Park in Lawrence, Kansas where members camped overnight. The event was very successful, especially for Team Cutter’s who raised $25,972 for the MS cause!
Helix joined the fight against MS during the 2012 Kansas City Ride. Mason Hansen and Mark Neibling rode with the KC Cutters on September 22 and 23 from Olathe to Lawrence and back. The team has helped raise over $30,000 for MS research this year!
